Winning number drawn for Holiday Millionaire Raffle

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – One person is suddenly a millionaire. Could it be you?

Officials with the Kansas Lottery drew the lucky number just before noon Thursday at the Lottery offices in Topeka. The winning number is: 024666.

Steve Ortiz, Director of Sales and Marketing along with Kansas Lottery Executive Director Stephen Durrell revealed the winning number.

It’s the 11 th year the raffle has been held.

In addition to the $1 million top prize, today’s raffle drawing also produced one winner of $100,000, three winners of $50,000, five winners of $25,000, 15 winners of $5,000, 25 winners of $1,000, 800 winners of $100 and 6,000 winners of $50. (See end of this news release for the $100,000, $50,000 and $25,000 winning numbers.)

For a complete list of winning raffle numbers, visit our website at https://www.kslottery.com/games/raffle. Raffle tickets may also be checked at any Kansas Lottery retail location, including Ticket Checkers, or by calling the Kansas Lottery at 785-296-5700.

Players must present their original tickets to claim a raffle prize. Players with $50 and $100 winning tickets can claim their prizes at most Kansas Lottery retail locations. All other prizes must be claimed at the Kansas Lottery in Topeka, either in person or by mail. Players have 365 days from the date of the raffle drawing to claim their winning tickets.

The winning raffle ticket was sold in northeast Kansas.

In addition to the $1 million top prize, today’s raffle drawing also produced one winner of $100,000, three winners of $50,000, five winners of $25,000, 15 winners of $5,000, 25 winners of $1,000, 800 winners of $100 and 6,000 winners of $50.

In today’s unpredictable economy, Jennifer Alfaro, a junior at Wichita State University, says her main concern is getting a full time position upon graduating.

In addition to economic insecurity, as life has transitioned to being online, many students feel they miss human interaction beyond that of a computer screen. “The lack of breaks and doing everything online, and just constantly going has certainly affected my mental health and I know definitely for others, it’s a struggle” said Masara AL-Sharieh, WSU student.
