History of the North Dakota Lottery
The North Dakota Lottery was established in 2004 after voters approved an amendment to the North Dakota Constitution, allowing the Peace Garden State to “join a multi-state lottery for the benefit of North Dakota”. Powerball tickets went on sale in 2004 and Mega Millions tickets became available in January 2010.
To date, North Dakota Lottery players have picked up more than $81 million in cash prizes. Out of every dollar raised in ticket sales, 26 cents is allocated to the state’s General Fund, which amassed an average daily balance of $3.2 billion during the 2014 fiscal year. If you’re living in North Dakota, it really does pay to play the lottery!
You must be at least 18 years old if you want to play North Dakota lottery games. Tickets cannot be purchased with credit cards.

Football Ticket Lottery
Thank you for your patience as we navigate these uncertain times. Over the past few months, we have worked diligently on a seating plan that would incorporate proper physical distancing measures to ensure Notre Dame Stadium is as safe as possible this Fall. We are in the final stages of that planning process, which will greatly reduce our capacity.
Unfortunately, given the uncertainties surrounding the upcoming season and our commitment to maintaining physical distancing in all of our venues, we will be unable to offer single-game tickets or parking to 2020 home games through the lottery.
As it relates to away games, we are likely to receive greatly reduced allotments. These tickets may not be available for purchase. If tickets are available for any away games, we will communicate those purchasing instructions at a later time.
