Massachusetts – A Sterling, Massachusetts couple has 61.4 million reasons to celebrate the New Year after stepping forward today and claiming their share of a $122.9 million lottery jackpot won in December.

David & Erica Harrig / $61.45 Million

Nebraska – Today, Gov. Dave Heineman presented David and Erica Harrig of Gretna a temporary award check for $61.45 million dollars from the Nebraska Lottery Powerball jackpot. The Gretna couple had one of two winning tickets in the nation for last week’s $122.9 million Powerball jackpot.

“Christmas came early for the Harrig family,” said Gov. Heineman. “I am very happy for David and Erica, and I wish them all the best this holiday season.”

Maksim Nikolayev / $130 Million

New York – Maksim Nikolayev of Brooklyn has claimed a $130,300,000 New York Lottery jackpot prize from the November 16, 2013 Powerball drawing.

Nikolayev is a regular player of the New York Lottery’s jackpot games. He plays twice a week regardless of the size of the jackpot. Nikolayev purchased his jackpot winning ticket on Thursday, November 14, 2013. The store he usually buys his tickets was closed, so he decided to go to the Brighton Beach Bakery Deli at 117 Brighton Beach Avenue in Brooklyn instead.

Carlo “Carl” Mitchell / $213 Million

California – Carlo “Carl” Mitchell is a calm man – a VERY calm man. So calm, in fact, that even after he found out someone won the Powerball jackpot from where he buys his tickets, he stayed calm. And even after he saw three of his Powerball numbers flash on the television screen during the news, he stayed calm.

Anonymous / $400 Million

South Carolina – The winning ticket was presented to the South Carolina Education Lottery Monday afternoon by a Columbia area resident who declined to be identified.

Ocean’s 16 / $448 Million

New Jersey – That was the case when lightning struck New Jersey twice in one night as it sold two jackpot winning tickets for the Wednesday, August 7 Powerball drawing. Minnesota sold a third jackpot winning ticket. This is the first time in 20 years that two winning jackpot tickets were sold in the same state. The last time that happened was on December 22, 1993 and they were sold in the District of Columbia.

Mario Scarnici / $149 Million

New Jersey – The second New Jersey Lottery jackpot-winning Powerball ticket from the August 7 draw was claimed at Lottery Headquarters on August 22 by Mario Scarnici from Monmouth Junction. Joined by his wife and family, Scarnici presented and claimed the ticket. The winning ticket annuity value was more than $149 million. Opting for cash, Scarnici will receive almost $62 million after Federal and State tax withholding, some of which he distributed to his two adult sons.

Paul White / $149.4 Million

Minnesota – Paul White said he’s imagined winning the Powerball jackpot “so many times in my head.” His dream became reality when the second set of numbers on his five-line quick-pick ticket matched the numbers drawn last night to win a share of the $448.4 million jackpot. Two tickets sold in New Jersey also won the jackpot.

Patricia Chandler / $77.4 Million

Pennsylvania – Patricia Chandler, of Upper Darby, Delaware County, today claimed a $77.4 million Powerball® jackpot from the Saturday, June 22, 2013 drawing.

Chandler’s ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 13-19-23-33-57, and the red Powerball 28, to win a prize of a $131.5 million annuity, or $77.4 million cash, less 25 percent federal withholding.

Chandler, holder of the single jackpot-winning ticket from that drawing, elected to receive the cash prize totaling $77,412,904.79.

The Williams Trust / $50 Million

Louisiana – Louisiana’s 15th Powerball jackpot-winning ticket was presented today at Louisiana Lottery headquarters by Baton Rouge attorney Stephanie Laborde, who claimed the prize on behalf of The Williams Trust. The trustee and beneficiary is a long-time New Orleans resident.
