If you’re dreaming of winning the Powerball jackpot, you should probably call a lawyer and be ready to tell lots of people no because life is about to get a little hectic.
Here are the numbers for Wednesday, March 20:
10 – 14 – 50 – 53 – 63 and Powerball: 21
Power Play was 2x
The jackpot was $562.1 million, up from the projected $500 million and the cash option for Wednesday’s drawing was an estimated $335 million, according to the Powerball website. There was no jackpot winner, so the new jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is estimated at $625 million with a $380.6 million cash option.
One ticket was sold in Parsippany in Saturday’s drawing that matched the five white balls for a $1 million payday. Four other third-tier prize winning tickets were sold across the state.
A $100,000 winning ticket was sold at the Stop & Shop on Village Center Drive in Freehold. The prize was doubled from $50,000 after the purchaser added the multiplier option. The remaining three tickets were sold at the 7-Eleven on West Madison Avenue in Dumont, Nana Pena Grocery Deli Market on Trenton Avenue in Paterson and Main Petroleum Corp. on Main Street in Pleasantville in Atlantic County.
No one won the Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, so that rises to $50 million for Friday night’s drawing, according to the lottery website.
Unfortunately, anyone hoping to stay under the radar with future winnings is out of luck. In New Jersey, winners are required to be identified. But maybe not for long after a bill was introduced in the NJ State Legislature to allow winners to remain anonymous.
The Powerball jackpot rose to $562.1 million with an estimated $335 million cash option.
